Just as there are different phases of grief, so are there different phases of rebuilding after a natural disaster. We've tried to organize it in a way that makes it easy for you to sign up where you're best able to help out a family in need.

How it works

  1. Click on the button that best suits your abilities to help out a family.
  2. We will review your information against that of those in need.
  3. Depending on your donation capabilities and services, we will provide the contact information for a family (or families) you'll be able to help.

Disclaimer: We are simply humans helping other humans. We are not a non-profit organization and can not provide forms to receive tax deductions for charitable giving. We are not able to fully vet the needs of each family who fills out our forms. We will do the best we can but are not liable for any fraudulent behavior by participants—both those seeking help and those giving help. By submitting any of the forms on www.HurricaneHarveyFamilies.com, you consent to allow us to share your contact information with a matching giver/family.

Thank you for your willingness to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey!

Not in Houston? Not a problem!

We've received requests from all over the country with offers to help. If you're not local but want to help by adopting a family, we welcome your generosity! If you want to purchase items for a family and receive their wishlist, we think that's incredible! Please fill out this form and we'll get you in touch with a family!

We know that the rebuilding process is a long one. Families will be displaced from 2-10 months more often than not, having to pay the mortgage on their flooded house, reconstruction, inspections and rent on a temporary home. A little help goes a long way.
